Value of Award
10 x NZ10,000 scholarships to partially cover the tuition fees associated with the study of any full-time Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor’s, or Master’s programme at Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology (NMIT) starting July 2025 or a Master of Applied Management starting October 2025. This is a one-time award.
Eligibility Criteria
In order to be eligible, candidates must:
- Have applied and secured an offer for a course of study of at least 120 credits (one year full-time study) that is available to international students at NMIT through MABECS Global.
- Be classed by the institution as an overseas fee payer for tuition fee purposes and be able to pay the outstanding tuition fees, living costs, and other expenses not covered by the scholarship.
- Start their studies at NMIT in July 2025 or October 2025 (only applies to Master of Applied Management).
- Be domiciled in Malaysia.
- Submit their scholarship application through MABECS Global by the following deadlines:
- July 2025 intake: 4 April 2025
- October 2025 intake: 4 July 2025
How to Apply
To apply, candidates must:
- Ensure they meet all eligibility criteria.
- Be registered with and have their application attached to MABECS Global.
- Prepare a 500-word essay on what this scholarship means to them and why they deserve it, to be submitted to MABECS Global (enquiries@mabecsglobal.com) by the applicable deadline.
Awarding
- Selection for the award will be based on applicants' essay responses.
- Finalists will be asked to attend an interview.
- Decisions will be made late April 2025 (for July 2025 intake) and mid-July 2025 (for October 2025 intake).
- The scholarships will be awarded upon the students' enrolment in their respective intakes.
- In accepting and securing this scholarship, awardees are expected to support the institution and MABECS Global, to a reasonable extent and for a reasonable period of time, by providing profiles and testimonials, and engaging in ambassadorial activities if requested by NMIT or MABECS Global.
