“I chose the Mechanical Engineering program, which contains many other parts such as aeronautical, aerospace, automobile, etc. so that I can pursue my childhood dream to be involved in the aviation sector, especially in aerospace. Lakehead offers a good Engineering program, the degree is accredited by the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board (CEAB) and this is the only university that has a diploma and degree program in Canada. ⁠

It is really easy at Lakehead to approach my professor and they all have their own research. Although there is no specific course that is about aerodynamics, the process is actually well-equipped and I can always ask my professor. In my last year, I will have to do a degree project, in which I choose my own teammates, topic and supervisor. I also love our student society which has helped me a lot with academic advising. The seniors in the society can give you some clues about what you can expect from the courses or the professors.”

“I chose to study medicine at Trinity simply because of the reputation of Irish medical schools amongst doctors. So far, I have enjoyed my first clinical year although I have only gone to the hospital for only about 3 months due to the pandemic. Nevertheless, I got to experience both the affiliate hospitals and our main teaching hospital, St James’s Hospital. The patients at these hospitals have been so kind to my friends and I that I consider them to be my best teachers in medicine.”
