“What do I need?”

🎓 Academic records: Secondary/high school transcripts and any other relevant certificates and exams you’ve taken.

🎓 English proficiency test results: Most universities require TOEFL or IELTS tests.

🎓 Student visa: MABECS Global can also assist you with this!

“I don’t know where or what to study?”

Knowing which university and what course is right for you are important questions to ask yourself. It’s overwhelming but you don’t have to do it all by yourself!

The MABECS Global education advisors will guide and point you in the right direction from the start.

The US is home to an array of universities, each with its own unique character and offerings. You can start by thinking about what matters most to you: location, weather, lifestyle, scholarship opportunities.

“Is there a programme I should do to improve my chances of enrollment?”

Here are 2 of the best ways to get you enrolled into an American university.

  1. American Degree Program (ADP) and American Degree Transfer Program (ADTP)
  • If you just want an American degree without having to go to the US, then the ADP is for you. It’s also much cheaper.
  • The ADTP on the other hand lets you spend a year or two locally before finishing the rest of your degree in the US.
  1. Pathway Programmes
  • These programs are for those who want to experience America from the start. Contact our MABECS Global education advisors to learn which colleges will be best for you to eventually get enrolled into a US university.

“What about work opportunities?”

No doubt, having work experience is incredibly important in today’s job market. You have the option to do OPT which allows you to work in the US for up to 3 years*.

💼 OPT is Optional Practical Training and majority of students choose to do this after they’ve graduated.

💼 You’re eligible if you hold an F-1 visa, which is held by most international students studying in the US.

*All successful applicants will be able to work in the US for a minimum of 12 months but if your degree is related to STEM, then you can extend your OPT by 24 months.
