Scholarships and financial aid

Scholarship..

If you’re looking for scholarships or financial aid to fund your study in the USA, you may find the following list helpful. MABECS Global education advisors have carefully curated this list to include only scholarships that are applicable for Malaysian students. Take note that every scholarship may have different eligibility requirements.

1. Scholarships offered by US universities

For private institutions, a limited number of scholarships and financial aid packages are usually available for international students.

Each scholarship and financial aid package have specific criteria to be met, and eligibility is examined on a case-by-case basis for students who have submitted a complete application. Students may also be eligible for loans offered in their home country.

A limited number of scholarships are available to assist motivated applicants with their hospitality studies.

These scholarships vary in amount and duration. Eligibility is examined on a case-by-case basis for those students who have submitted a complete application. Here is an example of a university-offered scholarship for Malaysians:

The Freeman Asian Scholarship Programme – Malaysian students who are in their second year of STPM studies at the time of application may apply for this scholarship (SPM results are not sufficient to apply). Only students applying for need-based financial aid and have demonstrated need will be considered.
